Emily Jones awarded over £44,000 in KE grants

The Global Economic Governance Programme, Blavatnik School of Government is looking for a part-time research assistant to support Dr. Emily Jones, the Programme Director, during the 2016-17 academic year. The work will focus on the political economy of banking regulation in developing countries (further details on the project available here). Main tasks will include reviewing and summarising relevant academic and policy literature, supporting primary data collection and analysis (including transcribing interviews, helping design an online survey, and conducting relatively simple data analysis in Excel and Stata), and assisting with project coordination. You will need a graduate research degree in a relevant subject (preference for candidates with a background in international political economy), excellent attention to detail and be comfortable working in Excel and Stata.

Start date: As soon as possible

Hours: up to 15 hours per week (precise hours can be flexible)

Rate: Standard University graduate rate of £14.40 per hour
