Strengthening Governance of the World Intellectual Property Organisation: A Time for Action

GEG’s Carolyn Deere Birkbeck called on governments at last week's WIPO General Assembly to take action on the governance challenges facing the organisation, arguing that the organisation's 50th anniversary in 2017 served as a useful prompt for strengthening governance to respond to a changing environment and long-standing tensions.
